Faenadora Lo Miranda Ltda., founded in 1993, stands as Chile’s premier processor of pork and poultry, committed to delivering an array of high-quality products that meet diverse client needs. We specialize in fresh, vacuum-sealed, and frozen options, consistently adhering to our core values of integrity, sustainability, humility, and excellence. Our operations are structured around four strategic pillars: clients, processes, suppliers, and products, enabling us to optimize efficiency and maintain our high standards. As the only Chilean facility authorized to export pork and poultry to major international markets, such as China, Russia, and the European Union, we proudly comply with rigorous animal welfare standards, including COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No. 1099/2009. Our Story

From Humble Beginnings to Global Recognition

Founded on a deep respect for traditional farming practices, Faenadora Lo Miranda Ltda. has evolved into a leader in pork processing. Over the years, we’ve embraced innovation while staying true to our roots, ensuring the highest quality pork products for our customers, both locally and internationally.

1955

Our story begins with the sale of fresh eggs in the commune of Doñihue, in the VI Region of O'Higgins.

1960

After five years selling eggs, we expanded into raising chickens.

1974

To reach consumers with our products, we created our first brand: Super Pollo and inaugurated the Lo Miranda chicken processing plant.

1983

Driven by the desire to explore and innovate, we began breeding and marketing pork products under the Super Cerdo brand.

1990

Cecinas Super, now called Alimentos Doñihue, begins operations.

1994

Continuing with the expansion of the chicken business, the new processing plant is inaugurated in the commune of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua.

2000

The new millennium begins with international expansion, where we opened offices in Italy (2002), USA (2003), Japan (2004), Mexico (2005) and China (2009).

2001

We inaugurated the first biodigester where pig slurry is treated and we became the first agro-industrial company in the world to issue carbon credits.

2001

We started the salmon business and launched the Super Salmon brand.

2002

This year, Colegio Los Cipreses, located in the commune of Doñihue, opens its doors to the community.

2002

Continuing with the expansion in the pig business, we inaugurated the Rosario processing plant.

2003

We launched our brand: La Crianza

2004

The next step in the treatment of pig slurry, after the biodigester, was the inauguration of the Treatment Plant in Peralillo.

2010

To continue feeding families in Chile and the world with products of the highest quality, Agrosuper SA is created.

2011

The Sopraval brand, which produces and markets turkey products, joins our family.

2011

After a long process, the indefinite suspension of the Huasco Project was announced, a decision that remains in place this day.

2014

Following a fire at our Lo Miranda plant, we managed to rebuild it in less than a year.

2015

We inaugurated the new confined composting yard in the productive sector of La Estrella, allowing us to reduce the emission of unpleasant odors by 80%.

2016

Agrosuper is the first company in Chile to compartmentalize part of its chicken production to strengthen disease prevention.

2017

We incorporate copper into our process lines at the Lo Miranda Plant, taking advantage of its antimicrobial properties.

2018

In 2018, the acquisition of the salmon farms Friosur and Aquachile was approved, which strengthens the aquaculture segment of our business.

2019

Construction of pig breeding sectors and associated treatment systems in Valdebenito, O'Higgins region, is completed.

2023

In line with our Energy Efficiency Plan, at Planta Lo Miranda, we eliminated the use of coal in our energy matrix, replacing our last boiler with a natural gas one.
